Limited Edition Cotton Tapestry Blanket by Aleen Sparrow, Musqueam
"Weaving connects me to my history, ancestors and culture. When I stand at my loom, I pray to all those who have gone before me and ask for guidance as I continue on the path they laid for me since time immemorial. These two blankets were made in memory of two special men in my life, my father Albert Bagshaw and my uncle Rick Sparrow. Making these new blankets in their name is my way of respecting and honouring their memory." - Aleen Sparrow
