T’ibin Tooth Mirrored Earrings by Jaimie Davis, Gitx̱san/Nisga'a

Regular price $65.00 $0.00

NEW! These stunning mirrored acrylic earrings are hand-made by Gitx̱san/Nisga'a artist Jaimie Davis as part of her new K’alii aks (Along the River) Collection. The flowing formline design fits the jawline and the mirrored acrylic shimmers with natural reflections and the soft glow of gold or silver. Rich in colour and texture, these earrings offer the chance to wear a little piece of beautiful British Columbia wherever you go.

"Flowing along the river our histories are connected to these lands through traditional knowledge. I am always inspired by my culture and creating jewelry and art is a way for me to express who I am as an indigenous woman (she/her) and to keep a part of my culture alive by sharing those stories with you! T’ibin is sealion in Nisga’a and when the t’ibin is hunting the saak (oolichan), we are hunting the t’ibin for its meat, the whiskers for our headdresses and the teeth as adornment."  - Jaimie Davis

Dimensions: 3"

Metal: Sterling Sliver plated Hooks, Mirrored Acrylic.

Each set of earrings comes with an artist biography and design information in a beautiful black box with a silky ribbon and bow too!
