These wall plaques in pine are a beautiful addition to any home with their classic Northwest Coast colour scheme and hand-crafted charm. Each is hand-carved and painted by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Tom Whonnock

The Eagle is a symbol of pride and friendship. Eagle feathers are given as gifts to symbolize honour and respect for accomplishments and displays of courage and wisdom. Because Eagles mate for life, they are also admired for their long term commitments.

The Wolf  can be considered a symbol of leadership and intelligence.  The wolf people shows us strength in relationships and the importance of strong family values.  Wolves live and hunt in packs or family groups.

The Salmon is the life source and the provider of food for all animals and humans. When salmon are seen in pairs, it symbolizes good luck.

The Whale is a communicator and highly regarded guardian of the sea. Whales travel together and symbolize long life and unity.

Dimensions: 12" x 5" (size may vary slightly)

Each plaque comes with an artist biography and design information as well as attachments for instant hanging.
