Made from reclaimed red cedar wood and glorious abalone shell, these Panels are not only beautiful but ecologically conscious. Adorned with designs by Coast Salish artists Shain Jackson the panels are produced by Spirit Works a 100% First Nations owned and operated company located on unceded Squamish First Nation land right here in Vancouver. The Thunderbird is a supernatural being and symbol of power. They live in the mountains and have lightning sticks under their wings. As thunder rolls, eyes blink and lightning flashes.

The Hummingbird is the joyful messenger and a symbol of health. When a Hummingbird appears, healing will follow.

The Wolf  can be considered a symbol of leadership and intelligence.  The wolf people shows us strength in relationships and the importance of strong family values.  Wolves live and hunt in packs or family groups.

Shain Jackson is a Coast Salish Artist from the First Nation community of Sechelt. He is also a lawyer who has represented Aboriginal communities throughout British Columbia.  Shain is the President of Spirit Works Limited, an Indigenous owned, operated and staffed company focused on the design, production and distribution of Indigenous artwork.
